AN ANSWER TO A PRAYER

I thought I'd be alone
Forever and a day
I wondered if I'd find someone
To ever look my way
I thought I'd find lonliness
No matter where I turned
But, God had special plans for me
Which later I would learn
He put me through a test of faith
I guess I must have passed
For, He sent to me an angel
A love He knew would last
A match made in heaven
God knew just what to do
I put in Him my trust
In return-
He sent me
